Katheryn L. Cerny

Farm Manager

    Kat came to Margaux in 2004 as an intern with the KEMI program (Kentucky Equine Management Institute). She graduated Cal Poly majoring in Animal Science with an emphasis on equine reproduction, and returned to work with broodmares here at Margaux in March 2005. Kat was born in South Africa, and relocated to California in 1992. She has shown hunters and jumpers all her life and attended college on a Cal Poly Horsemanship Scholarship where she managed 100+ horses as the college’s resident student manager. She lives on the farm and enjoys attending the many equine events that Kentucky has to offer.
