Our Edge Ready For G1 Travers

Our Edge (The Cliff's Edge) drew the 5-post for Saturdays $1,000,000 G1 Travers. The Nick Zito trained colt is owned by Robert V. Lapenta, who also owns and campaigned Our Edge's sire, The Cliff's Edge.

Our Edge is riding a three race win streak, highlighted by a dominate effort in the G3 Barbaro Stakes last out. His combined margin of victory in his last three races has been over 16 lengths. The colt figures to be prominently placed in the running Saturday and will likely vie for the lead with the favorite, Quality Road.

Saturday could be a big day for The Cliff's Edge who not only has a starter in a G1 stakes, but also has the promising 2yo filly, Agravadel, entered in the $100,000 Lindsay Frolic Stakes at Calder.

Additionally, Dave's Revenge, 4th in the Breedeers Cup Juvenile Fillies, is entered in the 3rd at Del Mar on Saturday. After a change of connections, the filly responded with an impressive score last out and looks to continue to regain her form this weekend at the historic California track.
