Petion The Lady won the Chamisa Handicap on Sunday in a race that saw offspring of Petionville run one-two.
Petition The Lady broke on top of Sailor's Sister and the two daughters of top 25 ranked sire, Petionville, ran in unison the entire way around the track, easily defeating the eight horse field by 5 1/2 lengths.
Sailor's Sister, a stakes winner in her own right, was beaten one length.
Petionville now has 5 stakes winners in 2009 and 31 stakes winners for his career. He is currently ranked 25th in the nation by progeny earnings.
