Margaux Breaking & Training graduate Lit made a memorable first start, breaking his maiden by 5 lengths at Los Alamitos.
The 3-year-old Ontario-bred is a homebred for LNJ Foxwoods by Straight Fire and out of Tapwater. Straight Fire, who was also campaigned by LNJ Foxwoods, placed in both the Grade 1 Del Mar Futurity and Grade 1 FrontRunner Stakes. Tapwater was a multiple graded stakes performer who also raced in the LNJ Foxwoods colors.
Trained by Richard Baltas, Lit settled into stride before powering through the stretch to draw off for an impressive debut victory, stamping himself as a promising young runner.
Congratulations to LNJ Foxwoods, Richard Baltas, and everyone connected to Lit on an outstanding performance.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have played a part in Lit's early development and look forward to following his career as it progresses.
