Margaux Freshening & Training Grad MAIN EVENT soared to a strong victory in the Cutler Bay Stakes going 1 1/16 miles on the turf at Gulfstream Park on April 2. Taking charge quickly after the break, MAIN EVENT set a pressured pace and drew off to score by 3 1/4 lengths.
Trained by George Weaver and owned by Harrell Ventures LLC, MAIN EVENT has found his niche since switching surfaces from dirt to turf. The 3YO son of BERNARDINI kicked off 2022 by breaking his maiden and followed that up with a second in the Palm Beach Stakes prior to his most recent victory.
MAIN EVENT was a $130,000 purchase out of OBS April and enjoyed a brief period of freshening and training at Margaux following the sale.
