Margaux freshened, Silver Ride, took his 2016 debut in an allowance race at Saratoga Racecourse on Saturday, September 3. The 4-year-old son of Candy Ride dueled for the lead early on and dug in down the stretch to win by a length at odds of 38-1. The win gave jockey Jose Ortiz his 60th win of the Saratoga meet. Owned by Jim and Susan Hill, Silver Ride is trained by Brian Lynch.
