Banksy's Rallies to Victory at Churchill Downs

Margaux Farm graduate Banksy's delivered an exciting performance at Churchill Downs on September 25, 2026, rallying from the back of the field to capture a $134,000 allowance race on the turf.

The three-year-old son of Paynter out of the Afleet Alex mare Darby Shaw showcased an impressive turn of foot in the 1 1/16-mile contest. With jockey Tyler Gaffalione aboard, Banksy's settled at the rear of the six-horse field through the early stages before launching his bid in the stretch. Swinging five wide into the lane, the bay colt unleashed a powerful late kick to reel in the leader in the final sixteenth, securing a half-length victory in a final time of 1:39.99.

The victory marked Banksy's third career win and his second consecutive victory, following an August 27 allowance score at Colonial Downs.

Foaled on March 24, 2023, Banksy's was bred in Kentucky by Dejulio, Stillman & Barker. The colt received both his early upbringing and initial training at Margaux Farm, where he completed the farm's foaling and breaking program before advancing to his racing career.

Now racing for his breeder Racingwithbruno and GMP Stables, LLC under the care of trainer David Fawkes, Banksy's continues to demonstrate his talent and progression on the racetrack.

Congratulations to owners Racingwithbruno and GMP Stables, LLC, trainer David Fawkes, breeder Dejulio, Stillman & Barker, and all the connections of Banksy's on another impressive victory. We look forward to following his continued success!
