Margaux Farm breaking and training graduate Silverstein delivered an impressive maiden-breaking performance at Woodbine on October 10, 2026, leading from start to finish to capture a $71,700 maiden optional claiming race on the turf.
The three-year-old son of Uncle Mo out of the Giant's Causeway mare Danceforthecause showcased his early speed and determination in the 1 1/16-mile contest. With jockey Pietro Moran aboard, Silverstein broke sharply and established the early lead, controlling the pace throughout the race. The bay gelding opened up a three-length advantage entering the stretch and held off his challengers to secure a 1 ½-length victory, stopping the clock in 1:44.84.
Congratulations to owners Gainesway Stable, LNJ Foxwoods and Andrew Rosen, trainer Josie Carroll, and all the connections of Silverstein on his maiden-breaking victory. We look forward to following his continued progress and success!
