Margaux Farm breaking and training grad Non Conforming delivered an impressive maiden victory on Sunday at Keeneland Race Course, taking the Maiden Special Weight finale in convincing fashion.

Breaking sharply, the 3-year-old son of Unified went straight to the front and engaged early, vying for the lead with an outside pair. He held his position throughout before taking over at the top of the stretch and pulling away to win by 1 1/4 lengths.

Lightly raced, Non Conforming has continued to progress with each start, securing his first win in just his fourth career outing.

Purchased for $11,000 at the 2024 Keeneland September Yearling Sale, he represents the kind of value that can develop with the right foundation.

Non Conforming is owned by Jim and Sue Hill and trained by Brian Lynch.
