The Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale is one of the most important stops on the juvenile sales calendar, bringing together buyers from across North America in search of their next runner.
This year's sale also marked the debut of Fasig-Tipton's untimed breeze format, shifting the focus away from stopwatch rankings and placing greater emphasis on athleticism, movement, physical development, and overall horsemanship.
For consignors, it was an opportunity to let the horses speak for themselves.
For Margaux Farm, the results reflected months of preparation.
Our 2026 Midlantic consignment achieved a 100% clearance rate, with seven horses sold for $1,350,000 gross, including four six-figure juveniles and a sale-topping $700,000 Nyquist colt.

The Work Behind the Results
Success at a two-year-old sale begins long before horses arrive in Timonium.
From breaking and early education to conditioning, veterinary care, nutrition, and daily management, every horse in the consignment follows an individualized program designed to allow them to develop both physically and mentally. The objective is not simply to prepare horses for a sale, but to establish the foundation for long-term success as racehorses.
The 2026 Midlantic Sale reinforced a belief that has always guided our program: quality preparation, patience, and horsemanship remain the most important factors in helping young horses reach their potential.
Looking Ahead
We would like to thank our owners, buyers, veterinarians, farriers, riders, grooms, and every member of the Margaux Farm team whose hard work contributed to this successful sale. We look forward to watching these juveniles continue their development and begin the next chapter of their racing careers.
