Margaux Farm graduate Charmingly Evasive continued her winning ways at Woodbine on September 26, 2026, delivering a determined stretch run to capture a $125,000 allowance optional claiming race and secure her second consecutive victory.
The three-year-old daughter of Charlatan out of the Congrats mare Duchess Dancer showcased her determination in the 6 ½-furlong contest on Woodbine's all-weather surface. With jockey Emma-Jayne Wilson aboard, Charmingly Evasive settled just behind the early leaders before advancing into contention around the turn. The bay filly launched her bid between rivals in the stretch, closing strongly in the final strides to secure a hard-fought victory by a head, stopping the clock in 1:16.53.
The victory followed her maiden-breaking performance at Woodbine on August 22, marking an impressive stretch of success for the promising young filly.
Congratulations to owner D. J. Stable LLC, trainer Mark Casse, breeder Mitchell H. Kursner, and all the connections of Charmingly Evasive on another exciting victory. We look forward to following her continued success on the racetrack!
